Meet Mandy Chalynn, writer, artist, and mom of seven sweating out her days in the moist crotch of hell, also known as Texas.
Yep, that’s me— co-owner of Do Good Humaning (meet my business partner, Shellee Layne) here to remind you that (1) there are so many ways to human and (2) life is a series of tiny steps, some of which involve tripping over laundry and avoiding Lego brick minefields.
Religious trauma and life’s quests have armed me with a sharp wit and a satchel of satire for the humaning journey. I aim to inspire you in your every day humaning with down-to-earth encouragement thats refreshing like sweet iced tea for the soul. Little by little makes a life— I hope you create one you enjoy being in!
Stay curious, & do good humaning, y’all!
A Relationship: Creativity & I
I honor Creativity as an old, enjoyable, and trusted friend. I make time to get together as I would for a close pal or new love. I look for the ways Creativity is wooing me, and I cultivate a practice of romancing and loving Creativity through all the phases and seasons of our life together. I nurture my relationship with Creativity, understanding our relationship will shift and change through the journey. At times we may need space as we shift through our identities, but Creativity and I always find our way back to each other.
